Open Question: Okay i need serious anwsers.?

Listen im really stuck right now. If you answer this question sarcastically, mean, or rude i will block and report you. This is a serious question. If you guys want to go ahead and make up your possess stupid question copying me go ahead. And if my spelling really bothers dont you think you seem like a jackass if you crit me on YA grow up. If this question really bothers you then DONT ANSWER IT. Okay as im sure you every know i only have 3 1/2 acres at my home. Right now my currect horse is boarded with 3 others and he is on 6 or 8 acres( i think). Thats great and i adore more then anything that hes on alot of land but there are alot of cons His water is always dirty Hes getting skinny and the owners aren't listening when we tell them to up his feed There are nails everywhere on old post in the pasture there isnt really every that good grass I cant tell if hes glad with his horse compaions its mostly mud. when i go i do the best i can but i cant be there every day. But my problem is he can only be on pasture board since he has a phobia of getting closed in. And there is only 2 barns around that offer pasture board and thats are current barn and our last barn. so my only other option would be taking him home on are 3 1/2 acres. But he cant be alone either and everyon has always told me to receive cause its a good number and 1 could be on the lookout. Im currently trying to receive more land out of my dad but i dont know how to bring it up tohim. please help. what do i do? I can take much better care of him at home.

Resolved Question: How to get horse to go over jumps they've never seen before?

i've had my horse since Sep 2011 and they said she would be a good jumper prospect and jumped about 2'6" and i got her to jump about 3ft and she jumps the pbc pipes good but i'm afraid she wont always jump just any jump, because i tried jumping a jump but instead of pbc pipe it was just wood. and i dont know if she just couldn't look it or if she wasnt confident enough. how can i work on her to jump any jump; such as cross country jumps. theres alot of trail where i board that have cross country jumps and i would adore to jump them one day

Open Question: How to make my horse enjoy jumping?

How do I make my horse like jumping more? He is a good jumper, and has such scope, but he has been stopping lately, and I don't know why. I have had to go from jumping 90cm, back down to 50cm, because it also ruins my confidence when he stops at the bigger jumps... Or should I just stick to dressage, maybe he just doesnt like it? Please any advice.

Open Question: Did you know predatory bandits may roam rural areas?

The bandits these days don't ride on horses, like in those cowboy films,or spaghetti westerns.No,the bandits these days ride in cars/trucks/utes/4wds,vans.Occasionally reverting to more old-fashioned modes of travel (walking,horse,train)where the need arises. What exactly is a "bandit"? I am not really too sure of the defintion myself,but my possess definition is a thug waiting to do bad things to you like : use violence against you,kidnap and kill you,torture you on a farm or in some undergroung cellar-like Josef Fritzl of Austria did to his daughters.And a whole multitude of other bad,awful things to you.These "bandits" are no "Robin Hoods",and everything they do is against God's will,and they are Pagans who do black magic and witchcraft of a supernatural nature.You may pray to God,through Jesus Christ to confirm this.It's like something from a horror movie. There are not enough David Carradines from "Kung Fu" to combat these people.(However,at this point I do mention that martial arts are largely useless against these types of people,and we need more than a big stick(a staff) to combat these people.)

So a girls Marrys a guy who pretty much Hates her so on there way to there honey moon they end up crashing the motorcycle. The girl dies but doesn't know she is dead and neither does he at first. They end up goin to the circus and thjngs like that. She is slowly falling apart. He buys her a wig a red wig. Okay, so I have the opportunity to live in California, USA. I live for horses, and am a very experienced and capable horse-lady, and I would really like to start up an equine business over there. I ride English, and have 13 years of experience below my belt. I'm just not sure how popular English style riding is over in America.... Here are the nominees: "The Artist" "The Descendants" "Extremely noisy & Incredibly Close" "The Help" "Hugo" "Midnight In Paris" "Moneyball" "The Tree of Life" "War Horse" 9 films, huh? You think if the Academy kept it at ten, "Priest" would have a shot? "Prom"? "Paul"? Other films named after elementary school spelling words that don't start w/ P? 1st of every, if "Moneyball" wins this Oscar, the team portrayed in the film will also win the AL West division title. Also popping up to 2nd base on the second pitch is "Extremely noisy & Incredibly Close," some movie about 9/11. Since none of the documentaries have 9/11 as a subject, that probably means the topic is passe. (But tell those Sean Hannity listeners about "Incident In New Baghdad" to whet their appetites.) I would narrow it down to "The Help" & "The Artist." & u no what? I'd actually predict it'd be the latter because there seems to be something pretentious about picking a silent movie w/ French guys in it (excluding Jean Reno or the curvy Marion Cotillard) that did not appear in a theatre close me, leaving me stuck w/ "Ghost Rider 2," "Gone," or "Chronicle." "The Help" would make 4 a sweet upset, like "The Hurt Locker" over "Avatar" or "accident" over "Brokeback Mountain." I won't b 2 ashamed if that happens. Open Question: Will the Navy accept me?

I have a GED, but 31 college credits. I have a tiny dish and three screws in my hand, but my hand is fully healed and the dish isn't needed anymore.( I could have it removed if necessary). I have a big scar over where I had the surgery to have the dish inserted. I have 3 other noticeable scar too, but 2 are on my shoulder and one is on the front of my wrist. every are from accidents throughout my childhood, I was a big on horse playing with my friends.Also, I am 5 10 and weigh 220 pounds, but I have a decent amount of muscle and can do any fitness exercise without an issue.( Can do maybe 40 pushups in a set if my chest has every its strength.) Also I took depression, and anger meds when I was 10-13, but that was almost 7 years ago. CAN THE ANSWERS PLEASE arrive FROM SOMEONE IN THE NAVY OR WITH STRONG CONNECTIONS TO THE NAVY. THE ANSWERS I AM SEEING SEEM TO BE COMING FROM PEOPLE WITH EVEN LESS KNOWLEDGE OF THE NAVY THEN ME.

Open Question: Anyone do Team Penning? Can you give me some tips?

I did Team Penning at my Agriculture College and I LOVED it. The horses at my college are every beginners horses (most) and didn't turn on their back end so it wasn't as fullinging but it was still so much fun. I told my best pal about it and she is interested in starting. She just text me saying she may have found a third person for our team. My horse is very cowy and I think she'd be good at it. and of course with a bit more practice she'd be great. My pal's horse is young and can learn. I don't know much about the third person but I'm assumming she must be good :P Basically, I am just asking for some tips. Things that will make us better, as a team and with our horses and such. I've done team penning before, so I know how it works and every the rules, etc. I am just after some tips for us and our horses and working together as a team? thanks heaps xxx

Open Question: I*n america how do your barns work?

well im from australia, i pay 15$ (AUD) a week for my agistment so thats 16 american dollars (atm on the money thing anyways) i look my horse everyday, i feed her, carpet, unrug ride her, me and my pal made our possess cross country course, have our possess arena and jump course, we are on 33 acres so our horses are roaming constantly, yeah we have a dam, it dries up in summer so we cart water, thats its only draw back! how does your barn work, and when you guys say 400$ or something for boarding does that mean a month? im just interested thanks for your answers in advance =D that sounds like a fun idea, but we have to travel 10 or so minutes down the road and we use a trailer with a tank on it to fill up bath tubs, this year we only had to do it once really, there was still some water in the dam but the horses couldnt really reach it thanks to every this rain we are having we r having a good full dam year =)

Open Question: Having trouble at high-school, please help!?

Hey everyone! I'm using my older sisters account to ask this question, because I'm not old enough for my possess yet... I'll make a key of peoples 'names' ( not real ones ) to make this easier. Me - Izzy My brother - Mitchell My brothers girlfriend - Bella My so called 'pal' - Kelly Sorry, I know this is long.. So, I started HS 5 weeks ago. In my core class there is this girl, lets call her 'Kelly'. Her sister 'Bella' is dating my older brother 'Mitchell'. I noticed Kelly had the same last name as Bella ( this was on my first day ) and asked her if she was her sister, she said yes, so I explained that I was Mitchell's little sister. She was every "Oh, chilly!" and sat next to me in our first class that day. We continued to be best friends for the next 2-3 weeks, I noticed she swore a lot, and she hated lots of people without even meeting them properly. She explained that her parents were divorced and her dad was abusive, yet she still had to go over to his home sometimes. We were really good mates and always sat together at lunch ( by ourselves ). Then it was year 8 camp, I missed it because I got quite sick. Kelly became really good friends with one of the popular girls on camp. The week after camp I came back to school, everyone questioned why I was gone and I told them, Kelly said she really missed me and gave me a hug. That week I kinda made friends with this other girl ' Danielle ' as well. We started sitting with the popular group in class, and I noticed I was getting really distracted and not doing my work. I'm used to being an A student, so failing anything really wasn't an option for me, which made me upset because I really wanted to be popular, but I couldn't concentrate. We started sitting with a girl from my old school 'Georgia' ( one of my close friends ) and her new pal at lunch times too. quick-forward to last week. Kelly started being less friendly to me, and I don't know why, she claimed I copied something she always did and used it in art class, which I didn't it was my idea! Now quick-forward to this week, and it gets bad. She picked me to be in her group in a class, which didn't please me ( she had started getting really annoying ). We made our way over to sit in the 'popular' group ( which also upset me! ) but there were too many at their table, and we ended up sitting by ourselves. The teacher then asked "would some girls please move to this table" ( ours ) so I desperately mouthed at Danielle to came sit with us with her partner ( which she did ). Danielle's pal 'Ava' started talking about horses, which turns out to be a passion both her and Kelly share. Kelly and Ava started being good friends from then on, so I invited her and Danielle to sit with us at lunch, which they did, along with my other pal from the school bus. That was yesterday. That afternoon, in last period of school Kelly looked like she was about to sob, so I asked "what's wrong?" then continued "is it Georgia? because she said you were mad at her" ( That's true, and I know I probably could've handled it better, but I was really getting sick of Kelly...) She then said "You don't know Izzy, ok!!" which made me upset, because I was just trying to help. Kelly then invited everyone at the table to write their birthdays in her diary, apart from me ( obviously she started hating me then ). Today, she distanced herself from me, sat with the popular girls at lunch and didn't talk to me. Then, during art I saw her talking to them, I didn't care though, because I was concentrating on sculpting my clay. But she must've said some bad ( and untrue ) things about me to them, because two of them ( I was pretty close to them ) just pretended I didn't exist. After the end-of-school-bell rang I was walking with my pal ' Tash' and I saw Kelly, she said loudly "BYE TASH!" and didn't bother saying bye to me, as I had expected, but it still hurt. As I was walking up to catch my bus I noticed Kelly and another girl ( one who was ignoring me ) were whispering behind me, one laughed. Then Kelly walked up and said "hey Izzy!" Then she started playing with my hair and said "your hair's so pretty" Then she asked " hey can you say hi to ( Mitchell's pal, I've run out of names ) for me, I said "whatever" and she left me alone. I know she was doing that just to look how I'd reacted, that made me more upset... The thing is, I haven't done anything mean to her, and she acting like this. What should I do? Really sorry it's this long, I just wanted you to know every the stuff that happened before... Thanks for any help! Thanks so much to everyone who answeres, and had the patience to read this! I plan on telling my Mum, she's experienced in things like this. It just upsets me so much because it happened the past two years in primary school ( with different people ) and I thought it would finally cease now that I was going to school with different people, I guess not. Open Question: Would you agree that modern media has ruined the monarchy by stripping away its mystique?

We now know everything and anything about the lives of the Royal Family, making them seem like any other group of mundane mortals. Never again will the monarchy be a great force in politics and society because of how the modern media has torn back the curtain on the mystique of monarchy that kept people enraptured in times gone by. Would you not agree? I know that some things continue to enrapture people, like how the royals live in stately palaces, ride in splendid horse-drawn coaches, don sparkling priceless jewels, stand over the common peoples on balconies and wave, etc. But, for the most part, the mystique is gone as we've witnessed the intricacies of familial dysfunction, young royals falling out of nightclubs, a wanton mistress being wedded to the heir to the throne, etc., etc. What, if anything, can be done to bring back the mystique so that HM and her family can once again embody greatness, if only in the imagination of the people?

Open Question: I have had a few things in the past that might keep me out of the NAVY.?

I had in the past some things that might keep me out of the NAVY. What do you think I should do to receive in the NAVY? I was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, but later on was taking off my medicine and told I didn't need that stuff no more by my family doctor.I was mostly upset over losing my girlfriend at the time. They treated me for depression. Since then I have gone on to live a glad normal life over the last 6 years. My blood work comes out very well every time I receive blood tested. I am healthy as a horse really, Being 32 I even surprise myself. Do you think going to psychologist and getting him to help me with a sign off that I'm no bipolar will help my odds. Like I said I was only upset. I also in the past had a few flair ups in the prostate glands too constricting my urine flow, but got that straighten out too. Can anyone tell me if there is any chance for a guy like me?

Open Question: How do I catch my uncatchable horse?

Yep another question from me. I have a bay Quarter horse Arabian gelding mix he is 12 years old but he is almost impossible to catch I have tried 'walking him off' it worked at first but now it's useless, we have him in a tiny lot with with a little Shetland pony gelding a Welsh pony gelding and a Quarter horse mare. Is there any way I can make him easier to catch or want to be caught?

Frndz i have a horse and it was suffering from constipation from about 1 month. One of my pal told me that if we pour a bottel of sulphuric acid over horse's butt it will resolve the problem. but when i did that my horse started screaming like hell and his butt was burned very badly and now he is unconcious for past 5 days....!!! what should i do guyz????

Open Question: How much do pipe stalls cost?

Im moving in with my husband now and he lives on a horse property. I know every about horse care and stuff and money wont be an issue but I would like to keep as much as possible. I will need about three pipe stalls like this ( http://wherethetrailsare.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/pens3.jpg ). Two will be used for horses and the other one will be used for feed. I want the three pipe stalls with a shade cover. Can anyone give me an estimate on about how much pipe stalls with a shade cover will cost? I live in arizona, so shade is a must. Open Question: Barrel racers - advice? + Show name opinions?

Hokay, so, I've trained my gelding to barrels and he's arrive a long way. We're ready and excited for show season. My thing is - he is not the nice of horse you kick, unless you want him to go into a crow hopping rage and toss your glad a$s on the ground, then stomp your head in. Inbetween the 2nd and 3rd barrel, and when i'm coming home, i've been trained to kick - I don't use crops. I can't use a crop on him, he was abused and is very sensitive to any aid you give him in the first place. He goes off leg pressure. When we round the 3rd barrel I just cling with my heels to his side, and he picks it up and picks it up until he's shittin' & gettin'. Lots of yelling from me, usually I receive excited and yell "GO GO GO" or "receive!!!" and that also speeds him up. I need to know of a way to receive him to go faster, quicker? He doesn't pick up his full on rocket launch speed until we're halfway home. Show name question - As most of you know, my geldings name is Big Nasty Boomer. Kickin' around at the barn we just call him Boomer, or boom, or boogity, or boom nasty, needy horse has about 12 names. Every horse at our barn has either a show or registered name, he's not registered and i'm yet to give him a name. So - Big Nasty Boomer or bad on Tap? Hi Al! I just think I look silly, with my heels clamped to his sides like that you know it? Not very comfortable or easy to do either. Granted I never kick the crap out of any horse I ride but I don't wanna roll up during show season and have everyone be like what the hell!?

Open Question: Should you actually listen to people in the Horses section that aren't Top Contributors?

It seems to me that there are a lot of non-Top Contributors out there giving advice about horses. Let me just say that I'm of the mind that it is folly to heed their advice without seeking a corroborating opinion from an experienced horseman with a Top Contributor badge (such as Lord Donald, Albert, or myself.) Yahoo itself defines a Top Contributor as: "...a member of the Answers community who has shown that they are knowledgeable in a particular category." I think we can every agree that we can trust Yahoo to appoint only the truly experienced and knowledgeable to this vaunted status. Too often I look people led astray by rank amateurs with little experience in the equine world such as "Donald" or "Gale Hawk." Be not fooled by these awful impostors. These are the nice of people who would tell you not to feed your horse Coke Zero, or to have less than 87 horses on your 3.5 acres of land. They mislead you at every turn for their possess amusement. Are there any other users here you find particularly untrustworthy? Also, what is your favourite nice of horse?

Open Question: Is my friend coming onto me?

I know this girl in California and I have a feeling she wants to marry me. I think this because she leaves me clues. She has shown me a picture of her mini horse which she keeps in her backyard. She has told me that her laptop has a tail and that the mess on her table is not really a mess but my wild imagination. She constantly mentions rainbows and how well versed I am in talking to other men. She defends herself constantly when I mention that she takes pictures which look like a chipmunk. Open Question: The owner of the horse named Big Nasty?

I am in the habit of collecting videos of horses being ridden. I was wondering if you have any high quality videos of you riding your horse at at least 60 frames per second so that I can receive a good quality slow motion captures? It would be greatly appreciated if you would share them so that can add them to library. I like that video...especially the last picture in it...you look good riding reverse cowgirl. Can we start a fan club? It seems you already have 4 fans here alone and I bet the other Donald would be into it as well./ ok Donald...calm down big boy. You just took innocent fun a bit too far. Open Question: Does your horse open the gate itself?

I am thinking about getting a doorman since some of my horses will open the latch on the gate and receive out for a stroll. I am thinking about getting a man to wear a proper doorman’s uniform complete with cap and lapels and stand at the gate and open it and close it as needed so that my horses don’t have to do the work. He can also prevent them from escaping when I don’t want them wandering about. What is the going rate for a doorman and should I just have one of my current servants do the task or should I just find a new one from Africa or Mexico? Open Question: Is the British monarch really the ideal representative of the British people?

If so then why the past and incumbent monarch always grin when there are many jobless and below privilege class serfs? Are British people really brainwashed like what Kim Jong-Il did to his people. Well he really did brainwash North Koreans. Try to look for some documentaries. Is it really time for the British to revolt? And why do they say gracious king/queen? I suppose Elizabeth doesn't even know how to be a good consumer in the market, she might even mistakenly pick pumpkin instead of an orange for the royal family's family size orange juice or an orange instead of pumpkin for pumpkin pie. Does or did she feel the burden of being a serf before being called gracious, noble? Did Crawfie tutor her the difference between a pumpkin and orange? Or she just taught her that everything yellow, yellowish orange or orange is a pumpkin? Since Elizabeth likes horse racing, does it mean British people like horse racing too?
